If you have read the instructions on the rules page you will know that the part B challenges carry points which are used to place you on the leader board for the championship. Your score has two components, accuracy and speed. The accuracy is a percentage which reflects how well your solution matches ours, and if you submit more than once to part 2B you will get an accuracy score for each submission. We will award you your best accuracy score achieved. Your time score will be a number of points based on when you submitted your best answer:

Two eagle eyed people have remarked on the fact that there are two different versions of Challenge 1B, the pdf version and the graphic version on the web page. It doesn't matter which one you decipher, you will get full marks for doing either as long as you do them right. If you want you can try to figure out the differences. All the best,
If the web page you want doesn't look right try refreshing your browser window. If you still see an out of date version of the challenge page you might need to empty your browser cache and try again. We will switch on the feedback engine tomorrow morning so you should get email feedback from then. You will also be able to check for feedback online using the "online feedback" link. Good luck.
