Congratulations to everyone who has got this far. Challenge 7 was a bit of a beast, but Challenge 8 will be tougher. We will be publishing parts of the key as time goes by so even if you get really stuck you should be able to crack the cipher by the end of the competition on January 9th. To let you try your skills we will leave hints until Christmas. By then we suspect the winners will have cracked it anyway, but who knows! Anyway the first part of the key will be published on Christmas Day and then we will publish a letter a day for a while.
In the meantime each of the following 8 teams have win a cheque for £25 for their entry in Challenge 7. We will be in touch by email to the address you gave us when registering, but not until early the New Year so do please check your email then and get back to us promptly so we can process your award.
To everyone else, good luck with the final challenge of NCC2013. All the best,
Harry
